Gimbal Payload SDK documentation 2 Byte floats
I have been reading the documentation (https://support.swellpro.com/hc/en-us/articles/5890485717017-SplashDrone-4-SDK#h_01G2TZXN4SV53QXT87ZRG235NF) for the Splash Drone 4 development API and think I may have found a mistake.
For the Data Structure for the "Gimbal Control" packet, it is listed as such:
But conventional programming dictates that a "Float" must be at least 4 bytes. I am therefore unsure whether this is a mistake or something that needs further documentation.
What makes this even more confusing is that the Gimbal Broadcast packet contains the following:
Since each of these same values (roll, pitch, yaw) are being represented as 4 byte floats here, it suggests a mistake was made.
Does anyone have any clarification on this?
Cheers, John.
