Payload Release

Used my FD1 for the first time today with great results....however, after the 4th or 5th trip/drop, the payload release started opening on its own right after taking flight., dropping the bait in the sand right where I took off. I switched batteries and that seemed to fix it, but then it started doing it again after several flights. Any ideas? Is that a low battery safety mechanism?
