FD-2 Fisherman max link with FDfly app?

I cannot seem to link the FDfly app with my fd2.

  Thank you for reaching us.
   
  Please download the App on the App Store/Google Play, or directly from the SwellPro website:
  support.swellpro.com
   
  After successfully installing the App, turn on the remote controller and then the aircraft.
  Connect your mobile device to the remote controller's Wi-Fi hotspot named SWP_FDxxxxxxxx. The default password is "12345678". (The password can be changed on the App)
  After connecting the Wi-Fi, open the App. You can now log in to the aircraft.

  I had same issue until I remembered to go on my phones wifi list then connect to the drone listed, using default password above. Then worked fine
