SplashDrone 4 version V1.5? Pairing issue?

I have a Splashdrone 4 I bought directly through SwellPro a while a go, I haven't flown it in a while and thought I would update the firmware.  Per instructions you update the Image Transmission software first, which I did as shown in the download video.  However no matter what I try I cannot get it to re-pair.  Per the battery tray it says I have a V2, however there is no Right/Left sightglass on the bottom, however it does have the button next to the usb port.  Upon removal of the bottom plate, there is both a Reset and Pair button on the board next to the Left and Right LEDs.  I can get through the process but step 7.  "Aircraft Initalizing please wait" never happens.   I've gone though this process at least 10 times with no luck, watched the videos..nothing...  Can someone please help?
